Rough Shooting at Amhuinnsuidhe Castle

Come to Harris to shoot grouse, snipe and woodcock in some of Scotland’s most beautiful glens and mountains overlooking the Atlantic.

In Harris we shoot grouse from September as they are a bit later in nesting than on the Mainland, and with the snipe around as well it offers a good mix. The woodcock start to come in mid November, but with the main fall in December and early January. Mixed in with some hind shooting it is a good mixed bag for a week or half week.

All shooting is walked up with Labradors and Spaniels and guests are most welcome to bring their own dogs along.

I can think of worse ways to spend a good few days.
