Assistant Chef/Commis Chef

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cook/Commis Chef to further their career at one of Scotland’s premier sporting lodges. The castle uses only fresh, locally produced produce and caters for an appreciative clientele. You will be an integral part of a small kitchen team reporting directly to the castle’s Hospitality Manager/Head Chef. Experience in Baking/Pastry/Desserts is essential and the successful candidate should be in possession of a clean driving license. You will also be expected to be responsible for the kitchen on the Head Chef’s day off. This is a seasonal post with an immediate start and finishing at the end of October. As the castle is situated in an exceptionally remote environment over 15 miles from the nearest village it is essential that the successful candidate is able to adapt to living and working in such a location.
